Auto set movements provide the peace of mind that as you roll through the year, you will have an accurate wall clock and not have to worry about getting a ladder out in the Spring or the Fall and taking down your clock to adjust it for daylight saving time.

It is a significant benefit not to worry about taking your clock off the wall twice a year to adjust for the time change in the Spring and Fall. Depending on the clock location, this can be a lot of work.

Clocks are typically placed above 7 to 8 feet off the ground for optimal viewing. Therefore, when the month of March arrives, you will not have to get on your kitchen chair to bring down your clock and move it forward one hour.

The same is true for the Fall. The auto-set motor will make adjustments for the daylight-saving time change.

Start-up procedures are simply just inserting the Battery the correct way. Then set the time, hang it on the wall, and wake up on the Monday after Daylight Saving Time with an accurate, reliable time.
