We are proud of our line of premium quality 2 3/4" fit-ups. Each of these fit-ups is available with a choice of different dial designs, but each fit-up features a polished solid brass bezel, a curved glass lens and our soft gasket mounting system. If you are looking for a 2-3/4" fit-up with a top quality appearance, then this is what you need. Because these BI72 series fit-ups are made with a soft rubber gasket, this allows you to vary the required 2-3/8" mounting hole size slightly. If you were to trim the “fins" on the gasket off, you could adapt this model to fit into a 2-1/4" mounting hole size. If you were to remove the soft rubber gasket, and wrap Plumbers Tape or similar material around the back of the fit-up, then re install the soft rubber gasket, could you increase the required mounting hole size to 2-1/2" if needed.
